Music Matters book design

Music Matters… for Communication and Confidence is a book produced by OCM (Oxford Contemporary Music) as part of their 'Music Matters' project.

The project, run in collaboration with Little Genius Music, uses a combination of the book, online sessions, Facebook groups and YouTube videos as learning materials. The aim is to use music – in the form of fun, simple nursery rhymes and songs – as a way to help parents and carers bond with children, while growing the confidence and skills of the children.

I worked with OCM to develop a style for the book, which needed to be accessible, fun and easy to use. The whole book was designed and laid out to use this consistent style, which was then extended across the other learning materials used as part of the project.
