Samatha Trust website

Samatha Trust is an international network of practitioners of the Samatha buddhist meditation technique, who organise regular classes and retreats.

Working with a set of Samatha Trust stakeholders, I designed and built a Drupal 7 website to replace several earlier websites and services, bringing together a number of their tools and resources into a single, unified, consistent web presence. As well as the information available to 'casual' browsers, the website includes a set of members-only tools and content, providing rich and timely content to Samatha Trust members. A selection of bespoke membership tools were created, including mailing list integration, member-created pages of content, events calendars and news, and a database of member details that can be searched and downloaded in Excel database format and as PDFs ready for printing as postal address labels. Drupal's content management functionality was used to empower Samatha stakeholders with the ability to create and edit all aspects of the website's content.
